Henning G.
Knipprath

Having developed an interest for wine and
viticulture as a student in
Germany, Henning began the winery in Spokane in 1991 with a desire to
create a family enterprise.
Transitioning from
his career as a military
pilot, Henning had already been crafting several vintages of
award-winning wines. With the goal of creating wines with a
European
flair, Henning employs methods of wine-making traditionally employed in
the various European wine regions. Future challenges and
goals include
further expansion of the winery's distribution into regional and
national markets.
The Person behind the Scenes
is most of the time the most important one, and normally the winemakers
are not visible for the Guests. But at Knipprath Cellars everything is
a bit different then elsewhere.
Henning loves to play at
both sides of the Field. He is always open for a nice conversation.
Henning likes to share his knowledge with the people and he apreciates
peoples opinions. |
